Weinstein, Schneider, Kannebecker & Lokuta was founded in 1986 by Michael E. Weinstein and John J. Schneider who combined over 50 years of legal experience in the Tri-State, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey area to create a unique team dedicated to the needs of their clients. Both Attorney Weinstein and Attorney Schneider are licensed in Pennsylvania and New York. Charles Kannebecker is licensed in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and became a full partner in the firm in 1996. Through the years, the firm has grown to include five attorneys and a dedicated support staff. The latest legal technology is employed to meet clients' needs and includes a complete library, research assistance through Westlaw and the utilization of the recent technological advances available to law firms.

Weinstein, Schneider, Kannebecker & Lokuta is a results-oriented law firm and the attorneys and staff take pride in devoting their full attention and efforts to the needs of their clients. All the members of the firm and the support staff reside in the Tri-State Area and are committed to the region and are involved in local and civic activities. Michael Weinstein is the former District Attorney of Pike County having serviced two terms in that capacity. Mr. Weinstein now serves as General Counsel to the Delaware Valley School District. John J. Schneider is very active in the economic growth of the County and serves as a member of the Pike County Economic Development Corporation, The Pike County Planning Board and is the attorney for the Pike County Industrial Development Authority. Charles Kannebecker is Supervisor of Delaware Township Ambulance Corp. and an active member of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity. Jan S. Lokuta is County Solicitor and is actively involved with the Black Bear Film Festival and a member to the Board of Directors for the Pike County Conservation District.
